Dynky Doodle by Doodle Dypes Review/Giveaway

I'm VERY pleased to introduce my followers to a great handmade cloth diaper as well as the first diaper in my Newborn Fluff Challenge!
Sandy is a medically retired grandmother that needed to fill some free time, so she decided to make cloth diapers for her granddaughter. She enjoyed making them so much she started her own cloth diaper business, Doodle Dypes!

Sandy from Doodle Dypes offered to make me a custom made AI2 Dynky Doodle, the newborn version of the Doodle Dype. I was totally excited to be able to try out her Dynky Doodle as well as pick out my favorite fabric from her Fabric List! She has SO many great fabrics to choose from, it was really hard to just settle on one favorite. I chose a pretty My Little Pony fabric, which I LOVE. I didn't realize I was able to pick the inside color as well, but Sandy matched a pretty lavender fabric with it, which worked out beautifully. I was thoroughly impressed with the design and the looks of the Dynky Doodle when I pulled it out of the package, it was just so cute. There are also many Great features to this handmade cloth diaper!

Features I LOVE about the Dynky Doodle:
>> Large variety of outer fabrics to choose from, there is a little something for everyone
>> Hidden layer of PUL to keep baby's clothes dry and allow for the choice of an awesome outer fabric
>> Inside microchamois is super soft against baby's skin
>> Snap settings that allow you to use the Dynky Doodle on babies 4-13 pounds
>> Center snap that lets you snap down the front so that the diaper doesn't rub against newborn's healing belly button
>> Inside snap that snaps the insert in place
>> There is a snap in soaker insert and smaller doubler that lays on top for extra absorbency
>> Inserts are made from organic bamboo fleece with a layer of microchamois on top which again is soft against baby's skin and wicks away moisture to keep baby's bottom dry
>> Doodle Dypes washes all their diapers prior to sending them out so you can literally pull it out of the package and put it on baby

Little Sister weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 21 inches long when she tried out her My Little Pony Dynky Doodle for the first time. It fit her so well with room to grow, although she is a big girl, so I hope it will fit her up to 13 pounds. She never got any marks around her waist or legs. I was also impressed at how trim the diaper was, her newborn onesie still buttoned well with it on. I had had Little Sister in Pampers Size 1 disposable diapers as well as Bambo Eco-Friendly Newborn disposable diapers previously and was impressed at how long Little Sister stayed in her wet Dynky Doodle. She is very sensitive to everything it seems. With the Pampers diapers as soon as she was wet she wanted it off, NOW! With the Bambo diapers it took slightly longer for her to realize she was wet. However, with the Dynky Doodle I was the one who noticed she needed changed before she did. Her Dynky Doodle was soaking wet and she didn't even seem to realize it, I think it was because the microchamois is so soft, comfortable, and it really does wick away the moisture. Even though the soakers were full, the diaper didn't leak at all.

Overall, I LOVE this cloth diaper! I really don't see any down sides to this diaper at all. I can't wait to show off her cute Dynky Doodle the next time we are out and about. THANKS Sandy!
