About Me

Growing up my Dad was in the Navy, but we were fortunate not to have to move often like most military families. We were stationed in Virginia until my Freshman year in high school when we moved to Indiana. I went to High School and College in Indiana. I met my late husband while I was in college, through a passion we both possessed... horses!

I have always LOVED horses and I would pray to God regularly asking him for my own horse. For years I helped my late husband run a horse rescue. I used to tell myself I should watch what I asked God for because for every horse I prayed for a horse would enter my life. My last adventure included raising Nigerian Dwarf Goats, which I loved dearly but as a single Mother, could not continue unfortunately. After my husband's death I chose to focus on my children and thus my years of having horses and goats has come to a temporary (I hope.) halt.

 I also have an obsession with poultry. I have raised ducks, geese, turkeys, chickens, and peacocks. Why? Simply because I enjoy them. 

I am a Christian, a follower of Christ, and believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the virgin birth and the resurrection on Jesus Christ. I am trying to learn as much as possible and follow Christ they way He wants me to. I fail miserably all the time, but I will continue to do the best that I can. God has blessed our family and the horses more times than I can count and I know he has special plans for us.
